#selfcarebingo #SelfCareIsNotSelfish
@ElizaMarie

Feels like I tried more this month in general on better habits.
Journal- daily writing a sentence thing
Binge a show- Accidently in Love (Asian Dramas!)
Flowers- planted a bunch of lillies
Play a game- Checkers & anything else my daughter makes up
Quiet time/read outside- got a day off and sat in the hammock and read
Send a care packages- sent some Mangas to my sis-in-law
Sing-Always am. LOL

ElizaMarie These are great! I am glad that you tried to do more this month with your habits. I am told (or I read) that habits really help with our self care and our just general wellbeing. 3y

@Chrissyreadit This was such an unexpected and very much appreciated surprise — thank you for thinking of me! It‘s been a hard year, having lost my mom & 2nd parent this past year.. and the holidays are weird. Your care package is so sweet and thoughtful and the perfect thing to help ease the weirdness of a new type of holiday. Thank you again for this and for everything!! It is so much appreciated. ♥️♥️♥️🎄♥️♥️♥️

Chrissyreadit Hope it‘s all things you would use- so that you can take care of you. I don‘t know if I wrote about the pens- I bought that brand for myself from the dollar store in the fall- it turns out they are up there with TUL as my favorite brand ever! (And a lot cheaper) do I grabbed all of them to put in packages this year ❤️ I hope they are fun for you too! Sending you love friend 🌲❤️🌲❤️🎄 3y

I‘m GRATEFUL for:
💙 Litsy & the positive people here

Self care is something I struggle with or at least I thought I did but I have realized that reading is a great form of self care for me!!
1. Reading while curled up under a blanket
2. I send many blessings, well wishes and relaxing energy to anyone who needs it... I love you all!!
#moonreflections @sprainedbrain @Meaw_catlady

sprainedbrain I agree with Rachel! Reading is such a great (and important) form of self care. ❤️ 4y

Today I'll be visiting my parents & I'm hoping to get in some reading time when i get home later. That's my level of selfcare for today.

Let‘s see, I cleaned my house and took a shower. Made a healthy lunch instead of eating the pizza I actually wanted. Took my meds and now relaxing on my couch while my husband plays video games and our son plays with my dad who is visiting 💕

I don‘t need anything at the moment and I‘m finally feeling happy and rested for a change! #selfcaresunday @Novelista

laurieluna I am trying so hard to avoid pizza and heavy shop bought breads at the minute. I just feel so much better without. Healthy food for the win! Xx 6y
Novelista I need to work on my self care. I‘ve been mentally exhausting myself taking care of everyone else for so long with how sick everyone has been. 😓 6y

1. I did my nails this evening after I put my boys to bed. I love the look but hate the cost, cycle, and wear and tear of shellac and gels/acrylics. Most manicures only last a few days. 😒
2. Vegging out with a favorite show or reading with cup of ice cream before bed.
3. My usual Sunday routine: prepping coffee and lunches: putting out clothes for the boys.
4. 👍🏽

#selfcaresunday @miralunasbooknook

callielafleur Have you tried powder dip manicures? I've been getting them for awhile. It's indestructible! I get it redone every 3-4 weeks, but only because my nail beds grow out. No chipping or peeling! I love the color of your nails btw 😍💅 6y
Chelleo @callielafleur - What is this sorcery you speak of?!?!? 😳😱 6y
callielafleur @Chelleo It's the craziest thing. They put stuff on your nails, then dip your fingers in the powder, repeat, put more stuff on your nails, then about a minute if drying time, and you're done. Only a couple places near me do it, but it's awesome. It feels like you have acrylics on, but it's just your actual nail. I just googled powder dip manicure near me to find a place that did it. It's also a little more expensive, but worth it, for me. 6y

Chelleo @callielafleur I just googled it and found a video review. May check it out. The removal process gives me pause. I like to be able to easily remove polish without damaging my nail bed...which is why I'm back to basic home manicures. I'll be sure to post a blurb if I try it. Thanks, I had no idea about Dip manicures! 6y
callielafleur 😘😊 6y
laurieluna Doing those little things on Sunday that makes Monday morning easier just prepares you for the week I think! Also love that colour 😍 x 6y
TheSketchyReader Since I‘m an artist I never get manis because I ruin them quickly. But I do get pedis sometimes! Nice color! 6y
No_One Nice colour! I have never worn nail polish on my fingers because they chip after 24-48 hrs. I‘ve been afraid to try gel nails because of the potential damage (my nails are bad enough!). But last month I tried Sally Hansen Miracle Gel. 😃😃😃. Nails did not chip for 7 days, and then the colour only started to wear at the edges! It is indeed a Miracle! Must use the Miracle top coat. And removes with regular polish remover. 👍🏼 6y
No_One And no, I do not work for Sally Hansen. ^ that review was unsolicited and, sadly, unpaid. 😂 6y
Chelleo @No_One 🤣😂🤣 thanks for the tip. I'll check it out. I also use Revlon Colorstay (2 step process like Sally's) and it keeps pretty well. 6y
