The best thing about this book was the writer; There was something exciting about the tempo the book was written in, it was one of those novels which you cannot put down. The cult element was eerily similar to what is bound to happen nowadays with new celeb churches. And although I guessed the identity of Wolf earlier on in the book than the author likely planned, I did certainly get shocked by a few twist and turns that were less obvious to me.

Great book! I listened to the audio and found myself turning it on more often than the usual commute home from work. It became the soundtrack to my days as I cooked dinner, loaded the dishwasher and by the end I was even putting my make up on with it‘s accompaniment. A riveting story with a few surprises along the way, it explores the entrapment of a cult and how it affected the rest of its members lives. The notebook sections were fascinating.

Starting late because it was a 10am start for me in Australia which clashed with grocery shopping. Here I go...

I had to start this again, it‘s been so long since I listened to the first few chapters that I had lost the gist. Back to work means long drives and listening time.

Slajaunie Ugh! Work! I‘m in the same boat. 6y

This was a very good read. It throws you quickly into the story and then we get to read the notebooks written by Nina. I liked the two narratives and they blend seamlessly together. The story is good and has a few good twists to keep readers entertained. The ending was good too and finished the story well.

Another good #Netgalley read.

Interesting plot, twists and turns, and some genuinely shady characters. Excellent read, even if the twist ending was easy to guess. Rating: 4 ⭐️

Thanks to Netgalley and publishers. Penguin UK, for the opportunity to review an ARC.

Thoroughly engaging book. Sophia‘s world is turned upside down when she discovers her mother‘s death. How much does she really know about her parents lives and are they really who they seem. This book draws you into the world of a cult and how easy it is to be drawn in when someone show you the right attention. Very well written with an engaging plot. Something a little different for the reading shelf
