panThis book does a decent job of highlighting problems within the drug industry, academia and medicine. It is, however, written in a sensationalist, polemical, hyperbolic way that really got on my nerves.

5 ⭐ from me but this is probably due to my background. I think if you are a patient or have a medical background you'll find this book very interesting & want to highlight quotes. However if you don't have this then you may struggle with it & I would recommend a #borrownotbuy. It focuses on the UK drug industry & is similar to Bad Blood by John Carreyou ⬇️.
Probably not a good book to listen to whilst doing your tablets, especially when you are on a statin and hear "statins are going to take a starring role in the book" (or something along those lines)! ???
I'm not going to allow it to scare me though.
pickI think Ben writes this well, easy to follow for the non pharma person. Some of the stories are scary and it inspired me to ask questions and make informed choices.
