A reminder that Al Gore was right.
Yes, this looks hot. However, August is normally hotter. So, it‘s a stay inside or stay in the shade type of day for camp. I slept pretty good last night. I‘ve only watched a speech for the tagged book and enjoyed that. #LitsySummerCamp @ImperfectCJ
And that tiny “mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam” is the only place that supports human life, it‘s the ONLY one where we can walk barefoot in the summer, smell the flowers, play in the dirt, feel the sun & wind on our face....maybe, just maybe, we should take care of it!
#EarthDay
I‘m posting one book per day from my ever-increasing TBR. No description. No explanation. Just books to read. Join the fun if you want.
Day 7.

Our current administration is #notreadytomakenice with Mother Earth. #lilithjuly
Outside the geography classroom. #PostMaríaLife
Front row seat! Made it to the Southern Festival of Books today. Planning to see Wiley Cash, Nicole Krauss, Claire Cameron, Stephanie Powell Watts, the Honorable Al Gore, Kathleen Rooney, Kayla Rae Whitaker, & Gabrielle Zevin. What a day! 📚📚📚😁
This should not be #controversial, but it seems it is in today's political climate. In 2008, John McCain ran on a platform of fighting climate change, now the Republican Party rejects science. #jubilantjuly #science #facts #trumpedupreadinglist
Tonight's #LitsyHumor post comes from the magnificent @MaleficentBookDragon ! Thank you for sharing! 😂😂👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻
🤣😂😹
My copy of this book has the earth on its cover, so I'm calling it my #earthtonecovers for #aprilbookshowers today. Happy Earth Day! 🌎🌍🌏
It may be an inconvenient truth rarely acknowledged, but that's it, that's home, that's everyone one you've ever know or heard of, or learned about... it's the only one we have...there is no other place that supports our life or any other life as we know it. So on this Earth Day/March for Science remember that we don't need to save Earth, that speck in space will be here long after us, but we do need to save the ONLY environment that supports us!
