Helped me to get more joy out of food (something I tend to struggle with)💜
Very excited to be taking part in #BookspinBingo again this month & appreciative that it exists to partake in - thank you @TheAromaofBooks ! To compile my list I just wrote down the first books I came to on my shelf that I haven't read yet!
My #BFC2022 goal is to read as many books from this grid in July as possible and to get moving as much as I can😊 @wanderinglynn
Ehhh. I loved her on GBBO, but this was hit or miss for me. Some parts were really interesting, like her section on the holidays, but most essays felt like she was overreaching a bit. At the end of the day, food is food. There is only so much analyzing I can financially afford to do. 🤷🏼♀️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Also this book just made me crave curry. So be forewarned.
Thank you so much for the tag @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks ♡♡
1. I mean. Sugary food. It can make my blood sugar go crazy or make my mood swing. But I just LOVE my gluten free brownies, cookies, cake, etc 😅
2. Oooo. Hmmm... My planner I think. It is FINALLY a planner I love haha.
3. Tagged :)
4. @Crazeedi Sorry if you have already done it. I'm just getting on Litsy for the day :)

This book is so good and will definitely make you hungry. But it‘s real strength is in deciphering and deconstructing the messages around us that make eating complicated. Instead, this book is about eating because it‘s good and that‘s a message we could stand to hear more often.
Reading while I wait for the show to start!
A delicious ode to food and eating and how wonderful it is to be hungry and then full - so grateful for this book today!
I found this such a cathartic read and I love this quote from the book which to me sums up her refreshingly non-judgemental approach to discussing food. This book feels like the antidote to the mixed and often toxic messages we receive about food from society and from each other. I can't recommend it enough #eatup #food #recipes #rubytandoh #greatbritishbakeoff
This book was a DELIGHT. There are discussions about culture, body positivity, assimilation, physical health, scare tactics, emotional health, and love all centered around food. Ruby has a wonderful voice for writing and I could not be more excited to own this book so I can keep going back to it. Such a lovely nonfiction homage to eating while living your best life. I recommend this to everyone! #EatUp! #RubyTandoh
The weekend is finally here 😋 #cook #eat #read #devoringbooks
Loving this no-nonsense, positive, loving look at food and eating and cooking and living. #RubyTandoh #EatUp #Food #FoodWriting
I can't wait to read these books, and when I am done with them, I will write the reviews on this and also on Goodreads as well! 👍😊 @ThiBui & @GinaSheridan & @RubyTandoh
"We accept the lie that there‘s a perfect way of eating that will save your soul and send you careering blithely through your eighties, into your nineties and beyond. Do what you want, we‘re told – but you‘ll die if you get it wrong."
I'm absolutely loving this book. Food has been a struggle for me lately, especially as a mom. I feel I owe it to my child to eat well, but at the same time diet culture and anxiety have taken away all of the enjoyment I have in food. These words are helping me so much to view food - my favorite foods as well, not just the "proper" sounding foods - in a way that also fits in with my own identity. And I think that is incredible.
