I realized today that I've been inadvertently reading for #backlistreadathon this week by reading the Lark Cove series by Devney Perry. 🤣 I'm planning on finishing the series and then I'll probably read more of Perry's backlist.

The narration was amazingly performed. Each of them did the voice of the little girl so well, that I believe Charlie is my favorite character in this story. Since the rich guy, poor girl schtick isn't really my thing, Charlie's character really won me over, that and her interactions with both MC's.

Whimsical.Curiosity @lahousewyfe I never knew the Cherry Creek location! But the Colfax one is awesome. The party they had there looked so cool! Ours was a bit quieter. 6y

lahousewyfe @Whimsical.Curiosity In the final years, the Cherry Creek location (which was the only one then) had a restaurant on the top story - I think it was called The Fourth Story - which was so good. The checks came in old books. I was sad when they lost their lease. I think the downtown location has a bit of that old vibe. 6y
