How did you choose the book: The book seemed interesting
Summary: this is about a teenage girl named Charlotte (aka Charlie) Reynolds who is a sporty tomboy. She has three brothers, Nathan, Jerom, and Gage, who look out for her. She also has a neighbor, Braden, who has been a lifelong friend of the Reynolds'.
4/5 stars. Kasie West is one of my favorite authors, and she did a great job with this story. The main character seemed a little juvenile at times, and the “plot twist” (if you can even call it that) and everything connected to that, we‘re not handled well by the characters. But the love story was still fantastic, and i would recommend it to anyone who needs a quick romance book to read.
God dammit I am a sucker for fluffy YA reads like this 😍😫
The story line could have been developed and explored a little more, but other than that I loved it!

4.5 Stars. I read this in one sitting. Loved the boy-next-door/brother's friend plot. It's also a story about being proud of who you are, and also being willing to try something different. I really enjoyed it.

The wonderful @Chelleo let me be an honorary #secretsantagoespostal member by sending me these goodies. I‘m blessed, and excited to try what I can only imagine is a “true buckeye” 😂 #litsypenpals
Sold two boxes of books to HPB and picked up this stack. Super excited for Jane, Unlimited - it was new and 20% off!
i'll admit that this is not one of Kasie West's best books. however, the characters in this book charmed me and made me laugh so much! this was a fun, quick read that was very interesting to read. rate: 3.5/5 stars!
Starting this today. #LetterO #LitsyAtoZ
A cute romance. Charlotte and Braden spend late nights talking in the #backyard with the fence between them #sizzlinsummerbooks
Read my first Kasie West tonight and I'll definitely read the rest of hers.
This was the book that got checked out from my library the most times this school year, so I thought I'd better bring it home and see what all the fuss was about! 🤗 I can see why my girls loved it, even though I guessed the major plot twist right away.
I think this one is my favorite Kasie West book to date! Oooorrrr maybe PS I Like You 🤔😂

New here! Let's be friend! I love books (specifically) Romance, New Adult, Contemporary and YA 😊 #KasieWest
I really liked this book because of that ‘feel good‘ emotion you get after reading this book. and Charlie was such a strong female character, and I just felt like I related to her on a level. She is so strong, independent, and very athletic. She goes through such a transformation throughout the book because I think she did loose her way in the duration of the book about who she really is as a person. But luckily she had Braden there to aide her.
What's your favorite Romance Trope? One of my favorites is friends to more, like in On the Fence, Anna and the French Kiss, and The Burning Sky!

"'You don't have to change for a guy,' Braden said quietly in my ear." ?
This book was so cute! Light, fluffy, and I was totally on board with Charlie (the narrator's) thoughts and feelings. And Braden! Oh gosh, he was cute and their fiery friendship was so real and true to high school.
How had I not read any Kasie West before now?

The first book of #backlistapril is On the Fence by Kasie West! This will be my first Kasie West book, and is a potential comp title for SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL. We'll have to see how it compares!
What are you reading this weekend?

I loved this! Kasie West is becoming one of my favorite YA romance authors. I loved how Charlie was dealing with growing up without a mother and the effects of that. It wasn't just the romance piece, it added to a great character and lesson
7/100 On the Fence by Kasie West
I decided to buy this book, after falling in love with The Fill-in Boyfriend last year and boy I was not disappointed.
I read this in 3 hours, straight through, cover to cover. And I couldn't stop grinning like an idiot the whole way through.
I've heard West is great at fluffy ya contemporary romance, and this absolutely left me rooting for the protags and smiling the whole time. Perfect for this last week.
Another super quick super swoony read. Just freaking cute! And a clean YA romance!

🔥🔥 Was a little iffy about Charlie at first, but Kasie West brought the heat and every moment with C and Braden made me squirm with anticipation #onthefence #pteradactylsinmystomach #summerreading #vacay
