I absolutely loved this book. Then , find out it's the first book of the series. It was well written, funny, sizzling, mysterious, and the characters grew. I will definitely keep reading this series.

And I‘m out. This 👆🏼 happened, then later he‘s even MORE of an asshole. There‘s nothing that could happen later in the book to redeem this guy, or make me care about the female lead who isn‘t utterly and immediately DONE. First #Roll100 DNF. This has good reviews on Litsy, which is probably why I have it 🤷🏻♀️ probably saw it on a list and the reviews backed it up. Live and learn and move on to better books.
Ok, I‘m 60-ish pages in, about 12%. So far I am NOT digging the male lead and the shitty way he‘s treating the female lead. I‘m over the alpha male, treat her like shit because ladies like tough guys, he always knows best stuff. Does it get better? Stick it out or throw in the towel? That is the question.
“And all because the lady loves Milk Tray”. This man dives into shark-infested waters to deliver a box of chocolates to a woman. Who is he? #MysteryMan #DearDecember @Eggs
I normally like to read these books as a palate cleanser and laugh but I‘m REAL INVESTED NOW
Not my typical book but this months read for my second postal book club!
Starting a third series by Kristen Ashley! I loved loved loved the Rock Chick series!
Ugh! This book put me through all the feels that I can‘t really identify them all. Just read the book, read the freaking book.
Rosie is hilarious. The book was decent, not my favorite KA, but not every book can be I guess. 😂 KA definitely needs to be read in order, I tried to read this before the Rock Chicks series ages ago, and couldn't understand why I didn't like it. Now I knew what to expect, so I liked it better and I understood all the cameos.
#booknerdproblems #photoadaynov16 I would have won summer reading at the library every year, except I couldn't be bothered to write my reports about the books. "What do you mean I have to write about them? That takes away time for more reading! This is a racket!" ???
Reading and listening to MYSTERY MAN by Kristen Ashley.
Kristen Ashley is such a talented author and this is one of my favorite books. Hawke is a tough talking commando who can't help but fall for Gwen, the ultimate girly, girl. This is an enthralling story filled with suspense, great dialogue and lots of bantering. I connected with characters, was sorry the story had to end and enjoyed the epiloge.
