This is another classic that I have heard many versions of. I like this one as it teaches about respecting others things and boundaries. I could see this being great for a lot of different situations.

Beautifully illustrated take on the classic story

Traditional. Great take on the classic. The illustrations are what really make this retelling far different from any of the other retelling that you have seen over and over. The illustrations are extremely detailed and you feel like you are taken back in time to the old time of the story.

The illustrations are very detailed and help tell the story of what is happening. The langue is not very complex so it is easy to follow and a good read for any age.

This is a version of the classic story Goldilocks and the Three Bear. It tells the story of the three bears small, medium, and large, who each have their own things in their house. Goldilocks comes in and tries each of their things to find one that is just right. The bears discover someone has been using their things and they stumble upon Goldilocks when she ran away

I loved this book! Another classic fairytale that is timeless and is a great read in any classroom! Tells a good moral lesson while entraining the class.

This would be a good book to read when talking about a “just right book“ because that is what she says throughout the book.

Goldilocks stumbles upon a house that she goes into. She tries out each one of the bear's things until she finds the one that is “just right“. The bears come home and find Goldilocks!

This book follows the traditional tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. In the story, Goldilocks finds the three bears house empty. She decides to go inside and eat their food and find somewhere to rest. The three bears eventually come back and scare Goldilocks away. She was never seen again by them.

I read this book so many times when I was little, I loved it! The illustrations are super detailed and cover most of the page, I loved getting to read this again!

I love the framework in this book, shows what the other characters are doing while talking about the main picture and characters on the page. The longer you look at the illustrations, the more you see!

One of the most classic retellings of the Golilocks & the three bears, famous in children literature! I remember being read this exact story when I was in elementary. It is still has detailed illustrations, like I remember. So many details to absorb!

Jan Brett's retelling and illustration of this classic tale is outstanding. I adore how German culture is represented in these drawings. At first, I thought the text would be too wordy for Julian (3y/o) but he was hooked the whole time. The dramatic expressions of the bears kept his interest... It was a joy to share a classic with him this evening!

A classic story, retold and highlighting the culture! A book all children should read , and a version I really enjoyed

Goldilocks and the Three Bears by Jan Brett (traditional lit, published 1981) was different than the original version of the story, but still told the classic tale. It was more german culture showing, which I really liked. The illustrations show this a lot- and it‘s such a good story

I loved this story ever sense I was a child and reading it again brings back memories. I love the illustrations because it looks so old with design but it's such a great story.

This is one of the most famous and classic folktales that i think most people do enjoy. Goldilocks learns her lesson at the end and never comes back to bother the bears.

“The three wise men exchanged looks and kept silent.”

The borders used in this story are unique and add an element of enchantment.

This story doesn't represent cultural norms because the three bears live in a house, eating porridge, and sleeping in beds. Those are human characteristics, but the symbolism in the story is clear. The bears represent a classic family with roles of Father, Mother, and Son.

Traditional literature 2014. The book is just like the story was always been. The three bears have their breakfast made, but it's too hot and so they leave for it to cool down. While they are gone goldilocks comes eats, sleeps, and sits in the chair of the little bear after trying the momma and papa's stuff first. She wakes up to them looking down at her and she runs for the hill. The theme is dont take what's not yours.

This story was never a favorite of mine. I feel as if I‘ll read it to my future class because it is a traditional story, but I‘m not a huge fan of it.

I like the original tale and how this was portrayed and the illustrations were great.

The plot is simple and direct. The illustrations in the book extend the story and have tons of detail in them. The floral details in the clothing looks like it belongs to the culture that they appear to be in.

Personally, I have never been a fan of this tale most because I don‘t really get it. However, it is still a classic story that I would share with my children. The illustrations are bright, beautiful, and add to the story.
