Actually the first book I finished this year ,a few days ago .Happy to be working on #serieslove2023
The FBI has reason to believe a serial killer , the Poet who eluded them years ago has resurfaced,as Bosch , now doing the PI thing gets a call from a wife of a friend questioning if her husband‘s death was really a health issue or something else ? Where the stories intersect, there are definitely some leads in common.10th Bosch in series.

TheSpineView Sounds interesting! Great job!💙📖📚 1y
Andrew65 I really need to get back to this series, only read the first 4 books 🤷‍♂️ Well done 🥳 1y

I like the way this storyline wrapped up (or did it?) and the little nods to other books and characters from this universe that Connelly includes. I remain skeptical about the idea of an FBI agent teaming up with a PI and about how Bosch seems incapable of meeting an unmarried heterosexual woman and not having sex with her (he's super irresistible, I guess?), but I set that aside so I could enjoy the story.

Another excellent addition to the Bosch series! This one also ties up loose ends from The Poet in a very page-turning way. Today was the first day in a week where I felt up for reading and I just knew this would be a winner!

Book #10 in the Harry Bosch series. This one featured a former FBI agent turned serial killer that has resurfaced. For being retired, Harry sure does some deep detective work in this one.

Although my audio version was a little glitchy, I really enjoyed getting back into the Bosch series! Though this is considered the 10th book in the series, it involves unrelated novels of Connelly‘s that I‘ll have to go back to! Still, this one picks up in Bosch‘s timeline right where the 9th book ended. I listened to it at every opportunity- not just #AudioColoring!

I pick the Poet from the Michael Connelly novels. To be fair, I have only read The Narrows, but the whole book annoyed me so much that I couldn't take the villain seriously.

Erinsuereads I haven‘t read these but they are super popular at barnes and noble. I sell tons of them! 5y

Really enjoyed this book its the sequel to The Poet (which I haven't read) and it also involved Rachel Walling and Terry McCaleb (in a way) and was a really good read.
Harry Bosch is fast becoming one of my favourite detectives 😍

It's frustrating when authors get things right, but not quite right. CellCept and Prograf are anti-rejection meds, not heart meds. Stopping them would cause many more problems than just congestive heart failure. That said, most readers won't catch that. Being the caregiver of a transplant recipient changes your perspective I guess.
