Sticking with the paper book to keep up the upwards momentum out of the slump.

Darthdad I really enjoyed this one. Felt like it moved quickly so it‘s a good choice to break out of a slump in my opinion 4y

I was amazed at how much I liked this book. I thought it was going to be a really hard read, and it felt more like a slow-burning thriller. Wow!

My first, but definitely not last, Colson Whitehead book. I love Bahni Turpin as a narrator too. I didn‘t remember that this book had some magical realism in it until I got to the train parts, and those parts are so powerful. #AuthoraMonth

Butterfinger Beloved was my first experience of magical realism and I remember just reading with my mouth open. A powerful read!! 5y

Scochrane26 Underground Railroad is a difficult read, but I love it. It‘s a book that sticks with you (although some people don‘t like it). Americanah is amazing! So is Homegoing! (edited) 5y
