One small grievance I have with bookstagram challenges is that I‘m on the other side of the world - so when 🇺🇸 is like OMG IT‘S SPRING - it‘s autumn in 🇦🇺

Finally got around to doing a #bookspin list. I have a few series starters in there so #bookspinbonanza is out for me this month but what a cool twist @TheAromaofBooks I‘m very excited to join in this month 😀
Maria V. Snyder is one of my favorite authors and I loved rereading this one. Now I just need to finish my class novels for grad. school this semester so I can go back to enjoying the next two books.
YA/ New Adult high fantasy story about a girl with healing powers who is fleeing through a fantasy world where healers are being killed because they are accused to have wiped out a huge amount of the population with the plague.
⭐️⭐️⭐️,5
Everyone seems to love Maria V. Snyder's Poison Series but the Healer Series seems to be my favourite by far! 😍😍 I read this when I was a bit younger but I loved all the characters and really connected with the fantasy world!
Would recommend to everyone who likes YA fantasy 🎆

My favorite Maria V. Synder thus far! Have to take a trip to the library today to check out the second in the series.
#WrapUp for #AugustPhotoChallenge - this has been so fun and inspired many rereads this month! - Including restarting Maria V Snyder's Healer series, which I am loving even more than I did the first go round - Thanks @TheSpinecrackersBookClub - this challenge was an excellent outlet for my book obsession and source for fantastic additions to my #TBR list!

Fairly typical of the genre, and not a bad read at all, it just didn't really bring anything new to the table for me.
I listened to this book in 2012 but read it today and can't say enough good stuff about it. Maria V. Snyder is SO good. She does such good world building, secondary characters you truly love and fierce lady leads. I haven't read the two other books in the series yet but I probably will this week!
Loved this book. Was into it from chapter one, which is something I struggle with in fantasy. Looking forward to the other books in the series!
