Well friends it had to happen sometime - I‘ve got sick this #scarathlon 😢 I was meant to go to an all night scream marathon tonight which I booked months ago but I‘ve had to stay home. It‘s gonna be just me, scream on the telly, a little bit of masters reading, and some witchy books for those word search points #skeletoncrew

Emilymdxn @Itchyfeetreader thank you! Luckily I can be pretty sure it‘s not Covid cause I‘ve been testing religiously for a work event that they were determined not to make a super spreader event last Wednesday and I still have so many test kits - at least I was clean for that! 1y

2 episodes of Loser‘s Club (about Stephen King Books, the Opera House was a showing of BeetleJuice (we took my mom, she had never seen it before!). Also loving this season of Chucky!!!

This was very easy to read despite being a very long and comprehensive history of horror movies. I learned SO much, and I loved how it was organised by theme rather than just chronology. The chapter on slashers was my favourite, potentially because I‘m just a sucker for 90s teen horror. I can see why people call this The book on horror movies

RainyDayReading So excited for this! Out of curiosity, would spooky TV shows count? I don‘t have that many movies I was planning to watch but I was thinking about The Haunting of Hill House, Lore etc. Can we earn points for those or is it just movies? Totally fine if we can‘t, just thought I‘d ask. 5y

Clwojick @RainyDayReading We've had a few people ask this. We‘ve decided that TV episodes will not count, due to a matter of scoring. It‘s too hard to track how many episodes everyone watches. 5y

RainyDayReading @Clwojick Totally makes sense, thought I‘d ask anyway. Makes it easier on me since that‘s one less thing I have to keep track of haha. And each movie we watch only counts once right? I watch Hocus Pocus and Practical Magic several times during October, but I only get points for the first time I watch them correct? 5y
