Guys these covers! I finally got this gorgeous paperback version for Cinder and Cress. Just need Winter now. But man, these covers are just gorgeous and even more so in person. I love the art inside the front covers of each book of the main characters. These covers are so much better than the others for sure.

AutumnRLS @InBooksILive Nerdy Ink! They were reasonably priced compared to other places I looked. I needed something affordable to justify rebuying the first three in hardback first edition so that they would all be the same size. 5y

I was feeling a little down in the dumps so I took to my bed and binged this series. It's fairytale retellings mixed with Star Wars. I had already read Cinder so it took no time to fall back into the world. I really enjoyed the characters and the stories. Yes, there was some predictability, but overall I found it really well done. It was exactly the escape I needed.

Mommamanzi I still have not read the last in the Lunar Chronicles, it doesn't come out in paper back until November. It's killlling me!!! 8y

GypsyKat @Mommamanzi Winter or Stars Above? Because Winter can really be considered the end of the series, but Stars Above does add a little bit to the ending in the last short story in the book. 8y

GypsyKat @Cinfhen The Throne of Glass series is a little more intense, and the last book won't be out until Sept. 2018. The Lunar Chronicles is all out, and it's a fun, sci-fi take on fairytale retellings. If you like Firefly at all, it has a little bit of a Firefly feel. It's a fun read. 8y

Got this for Christmas and loved it. Which is not unexpected as retold fairytales are my favorite. I loved the entire Rampion crew and each couple a dynamic was entirely different yet each one worked really well. (Cinder and Kai though 💜💜💜)

A dystopian, science fiction retelling of fairy tales with no damsel in distress to be seen? Its like she knew my wildest book dreams!
My only complaint had been that my fave, Little Mermaid wasn't one of the princesses used, but then there was The Little Andriod in the short story collection and my heart fluttered.

bmsddk @Tracinator My fave book is probably Winter, but it's all so close! The Iko/Cinder friendship, Torin/Kai mentoring, finally more about the Winter/Jacin relationship, and most importantly, seeing the adventure come together were aspects I enjoyed. But the character development in Cress for all the characters is so well written! Scarlet has a great pace. Of course, Cinder hooks us in! 8y

bmsddk @Tracinator Kai and Thorne are my fave heroes, depending on the day, though the four of them are great. It's harder to choose just one heroine! Probably Winter? What is one of your favourite scenes of the series? 8y

I love this entire series! I thought each book was better then the one before. I read a lot of YA and this was such a fresh perceptive. The characters felt new and unique not the same old mash up teen I'm tired of reading about and I loved that it was in third person rather then first (the preferred YA pov). The take on the fairy tales was super fun.
