This is my partner's favourite series and I agreed to try it. It was always going to be a hard sell as it's not my usual thing.

It's very wacky and I can see why people enjoy it. It wasn't for me. I think I'll watch the series and maybe jump in later, I found it slow and not very interesting

I kept hearing about this one, so I finally gave it a chance. It isn't too bad. I just had to get used to the ridiculousness of it. Overall, it seems like it's going to be a fun manga.

When you order new books for the students‘ library of English books and most of them you ordered for yourself… 🤣🤣🤣

This was a cute and silly start to this giant manga series. Had to check out the book before checking out the new Netflix series. Looking forward to continuing One Piece! 4⭐️

I was reminiscing about One Piece and how much I loved the adventure and characters. Luckily, my local library has all the volumes. First volume made me laugh a lot. Great series readers who love adventure, quirky characters and comedy #manga

Since I have had a positively manga-ful day the first thing my brain siezed on when considering Defiant for #startreksummerjune was the One Piece crew throwing their pirate status and their found family in the face of the world. They -will- take on the World Governemnt!
(Oh Thomas Riker, one of Trek's most visible hanging thread. Can't wait until I get to whatever novel that certainly exists and covers his fate.)

I had to up my reading challenge since I set it so low at the beginning of the year.

Action, adventure, friendship. Silly on the outside. Emotionally deep on the inside. I've laughed with this series. I've rolled my eyes with this series. I've cried with this series. It's da best 👍 Classic.

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this so far. The art annoys me beyond all reason, which is a HUGE thing for me. It's a fine story so far I guess, I think it might grow on me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I didn't want to like this, mainly because it's 78 volumes and growing. That being said, it is just too much fun not to enjoy. Pirates, sword fights and yelling.

I've read so much manga in the past week I've forgotten how to read normal books...
I'm borrowing One Piece from my boyfriend to give another try...I figured it'd be more tolerable than the super loud anime.

Great start to this series - full of humour and silliness! Straight onto volume 2...
