This is a must-read for anyone who likes to learn about highs and lows of a business from a CRO‘s pov. The book walks us through the difficult phase of Starbucks as a business and the steps Howard took to overcome the challenging economy and market. There‘s a lot to learn from this book about taking risks, believing in yourself, confidence, dealing with failure, focusing on the bigger picture, patience & success. Highly recommend this one!

Dear Mr. Schultz:

I think you‘re a really good businessman and I think that you running for US president is a really, really, really bad idea. Please just stick to what works. We don‘t need another businessman as president.

Sincerely,

A concerned citizen of the world

Not bookish, but I haven‘t shared a photo of Sam in a bit, and this is just too cute. Post-vet Starbucks Pup Cup. Pure bliss. 💚🐾

Leftcoastzen Yay, pup cup!😁Ewwww vet. 6y
britt_brooke @Leftcoastzen I know. 😕 My poor baby, who is almost 11, has to have surgery in a couple of weeks to remove a cyst on his leg. They think it‘s just a mass, but it‘s in a weird spot and getting bigger, so it needs to go before it starts hindering his ability to get around. 😔 6y

Jinjer Ohhhhhh💕💕💕Well he had a good, happy life with you and lots of tasty treats! I‘m so, so sorry!!! Fucking cancer!!!!😡😡😡 6y
britt_brooke @Jinjer Thank you. 💚 There‘ll never be another one like him. He had a good, long life with an unfortunately shitty ending. Cancer is the worst. Glad he‘s not suffering, but I miss that face so much. 💔 6y

Day 1 - International coffee day...My fiancé is reading this right now and giving me all sorts of fun facts about Starbucks and the creator behind the pike place roast that is getting me through my long work days right now. I appreciate that he's no longer giving me a hard time about buying from Starbucks on a daily basis ☺️ #hauntedtales16
