We finished reading chapter 6 of @neildegrassetyson's ASTROPHYSICS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN A HURRY today, and we weren't going to skip an opportunity to make "The Universe as Hot Cocoa"! ☕? 68% dark energy (hot cocoa), 27% dark matter (whipped cream), and 5% regular matter (cinnamon).

“Astrophysics teaches us that we‘re not the center of the world.

It teaches us that our universe might not even be the only universe. It teaches us to have a cosmic perspective."

Finished the tagged book while #audiocleaning.

It's free for anyone at stories.audible.com atm.

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn about astrophysics. It's for children, but that makes it even better to listen to, since the content is easy to understand.

Narrated by Levar Burton.

Great for middle schoolers interested in astrology. The tone is friendly and fun, and the information is well explained with plenty of understandable metaphors. Tyson refers to the reader as being in middle school a few times, so middle school readers are best. #science #astrology #scienceforkids

Another Amazon Prime day steal; this one is for my daughter!

But secretly, I want to keep it for myself 😂 The cover has that soft touch matte feeling (my faaaavorite material for book covers) and the planets on it have a 3-D bubble texture thing going. Super fun!
