First book by this author and won‘t be my last. It‘s such a uniquely bookish feeling when I find a writers whose catalogue I know I‘ll devour. 📖

so-soI wanted to love this book. I really did. I kept putting it down and picking it up. Maybe it was better suited for one long reading session.
so-soLiked the premise of this book, liked the intro of readings of each of the couples as they come to Rini‘s Astrological retreat. The story itself and how it was written almost gave me the thoughts to DNF. I made it to the end which was not bad but overall this read was not my cup of tea leaves!:)🍁 🍁 🍁
so-soAbsolute eye candy. The art is so pretty, and every character is ridiculously gorgeous. I love the concept of painted magic. Unfortunately, the story is very much under-developed and the painting magic plays very little role. I'd give this a read because of the pretty art and story potential, but don't bring high expectations for the storytelling aspect. #lgbtqia #comics #astrology #UniqueMagic
pickI recently saw this author's interview where she mentioned RHOBH influenced this story and I thought, "I have to read that book". I'm so glad I did! A great story that builds and builds to a great conclusion. Plus if you're a RH fan you'll see the influences and out right call out.

pickThis is a thriller set among a group of friends at a small resort that features Astrology readings. What I appreciated is the suspense created throughout while the real 'thrill' only occurred at the end. The many secrets amongst the various married couples and the host, combined with the 'readings' provided clues to the final reveals. I enjoyed it and although there were many POVs, I followed it easily. Thanks to Edelweiss for the digital ARC. 4/5
pickThis quoteable little gem was philosophical, convincing, well-characterised, and eccentric. I truly appreciated it.
It did, however, take me far too long to finish. I struggled to stay focused. My mind just kept wandering.
