The writing is interesting but the story is boring me a little. I may come back to this one later. DNF
#roll100 pick off the TBR for now this was my #doublespin pick as well.

What a fun (and informative) little astrology book!
I am a huge astrology nerd, so naturally I was very excited for this one.
I loved that the book opened up with a short introduction into astrology and briefly explained birth charts and houses (although the graphic for the houses has an error on the numbering).

Several people struggling with feeling stuck in a rut find their way to a pop-up cafe run by knowledgeable cats with gentle advice. Adorable and whimsical. I loved the drinks and foods described and the way every story was connected. Some of the women received strange dating advice that put me off a bit. This was one of my recent #Roll100 picks @PuddleJumper
First book by this author and won‘t be my last. It‘s such a uniquely bookish feeling when I find a writers whose catalogue I know I‘ll devour. 📖

My #FictionalTraveler Feb pick for #APlaceYouLove finished yesterday. Kyoto, Japan is a favorite place of mine & the setting of this book of interconnected stories set around a mysterious coffee shop that randomly pops up in the city. The fact that it‘s run by talking cats who dispense magical desserts & beverages along with astrological advice for those feeling lost in their lives was appealing to me & I enjoyed this quietly sweet book.
My #FictionalTraveler February pick for #APlaceYouLove is the tagged book. I love Japan & especially Kyoto. Plus, coffee shops are a place I love too! 🌸☕️🏯🇯🇵🐈⬛
#audiostitching this morning and hoping the rest of the family doesn't get up for a while 🪡💜🤞🏻
Continuing on my mission to read all the Japanese Cat Fiction books - this was a delightful tale of not-quite strangers unexpectedly finding their way to the Full Moon Coffee Shop.
I love an interconnected story and there‘s just something about distinguished cats talking about the age of Aquarius & the astrological houses that is deeply charming.
I wanted to love this book. I really did. I kept putting it down and picking it up. Maybe it was better suited for one long reading session.
