Resistance Is Futile | 
Took my Youngest to the library for his summer reading challenge, and was not supposed to get any for myself. I resisted all the displays on the way in. But then there was a scavenger hunt for hidden posters that took us out of the children's section and all around the library, and somehow at the end of it I had picked up these three. 🤷♀️ To go with the 14 books I already have on loan. 🤪 #SendHelp
Okay we are off for a rare afternoon of high street shopping. There will be bookshops, including a massive Waterstones that I actually like. Help! I must not buy books.... I must not buy books.... I must not....
so-soKind of a funny and nerdy Lovestory, but not 100% my taste. I'm not into those romancy stories so it was ok but not totally my style.
panI have enjoyed a number of Jenny Colgan's books, but this one really didn't work for me. The central relationship didn't seem to be based on anything but puppy eyes and a smell of the sea, which isn't really a reason to endanger the earth and your friends, I don't think.
so-so🤓🤓🤓 This book is not my usual fare. It was pretty entertaining although there were too many pop culture references in it for my taste. It was light and fun; a quick read. It wasn't amazing but I'm glad I read it. This is my #LitsyAtoZ selection for C. (I'm doing all female authors for this challenge.) @BookishMarginalia

Sadly, they are. I am enjoying this book and like this passage but I was annoyed she kept pushing this issue by asking "which would you say you were at the moment?" Who the hell cares?!? You feel attraction. The end.
