I love Tara Brach‘s writing. She‘s one of the most accessible mindfulness/meditation authors out there, in my opinion.
Tara Brach's first book, Radical Acceptance, was a pivotal book for me over ten years ago. This is a wonderful revisit to this practice and expanding it. For me this is a personal 5 star, it is not perfect but it is meaningful to me. I look forward to buying this in physical form as I will return to this book.
#DNF
For whatever reason, just not in the mood to read this. It‘s a library book so it can “stay home” with me for ages- maybe I will get back to it, but maybe not! So I did not include this in my #weeklyforcast.
#Two4Tuesday
1. Radical Compassion.
2. I do a combination. Some books for buddy reads, but for the most part I tend to “fly by the seat of my pants.” Very much a mood reader.

When I pulled a book from my library bag, this book was in my grasp. Right before then, I had been ordering from Whole Foods & A perfume called “Rain” caught my eye. I rarely use scents because they bother my husband. But I suddenly wanted to treat myself and wear it while I work. It went in my cart. Such coincidences always make me pause & feel the universe is aligned with me.All seems right in my world.
This book has been helping me SO MUCH with easing my anxiety through this challenging time. Tara Brach teaches us how to practice compassion to empower, center, and free us. Using RAIN (Recognize, Allow, Investigate, & Nurture) has been a lifeline for me, helping me to stay in the present, care for myself and my team, and feel empowered to do what I can to respond with compassion and creativity to this unprecedented moment.
My plans for the ends of break reading #weeklyforcast
