The Gray Man takes on the Cartels in Mexico in this exciting chapter of the series.
This was my August #BookSpin book.

Also, it's really hard to read when your eye is watering and slightly blurry. But this book was worth the extra work to read!

I had shingles last week and it turned into a hospital stay with bells palsey. Finally home and I've slept too much today so it's a late night delivery and hopefully finishing my book.

candc320 So sorry you‘ve been going through that ☹️. Looks like a good snack though! 2y

This is my #weeklyforecast #bookreport and @Andrew65 #AwesomeAugust Readathon wrap up.

I was expecting to finish at least two if not three books this week but between shingles and a visit to the ER on Saturday, that didn't happen. Thankful my health is much better.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through “Ballistic“ and should finish today/tomorrow. Then on to book 2 in the Lucas Page series. Don't know if I'll get to anything else this week.

“The Mercies“ was a super slow read that I bailed on.
Still working on “Ballsitic“ and I didn't read much as I discovered on Sunday I have shingles. Thankfully, it's not to painful just super itchy. Enough to make me mildly miserable.
This weeks goal is to finish “Ballistic“ and “Born a Crime.“ Maybe this weekend I can conquer another book. We'll see.

Fave day of the month is here! Here's my #Bookspin and #Doublespin for the month.

For library book, I have a couple of options...I just put “Star in the Storm“ by Joan Hiatt Harlow on hold. Also, the second book in the “Julie and the Wolves“ should be arriving later this month. I've been doing really good about sticking with my reading plan and not coming home with extra library books, so we'll see if that holds.

Pickpick

Ballistic is a gritty bloodbath of a story. The Gray Man finds himself stuck in a war between rival cartels in Mexico while trying to protect the family of close friend who was recently killed. Gentry's character takes on a new dimension in this novel, and as always, there's a high body count and plenty of action.
