1. I had to pick a poet for this one: e.e. cummings. His play with words, punctuation, and all poetic forms in general is a sight to behold and a joy (or in the case above, sorrow) to read and hear.

I didn‘t like E.E. Cummings as much as I expected to.... But when he gets into his experimental, avant-garde zone it is some fun stuff. He‘s strong and firm in his worldview, philosophically, which I appreciate.

For some reason I thought that major oral surgery would be easy to recover from. Turns out I was wrong, but at least I have e.e. cummings to keep me company at 3 AM when my mouth hurts too much to let me sleep! #poetry
