For fans of Casey McQuiston and Abby Jimenez comes a bold, hilarious, and out-of-the-box novel about mixing business with battery-operated pleasure . . . When it comes to her career, Cade Elgin has it all figured out. Only professional talk has become her default mode, relationships are nonexistent, and dont even mention the word orgasm. All work and no play makes Cade a dull human. But when she inherits a sex toy store, Cade is caught between business and a store filled with every imaginable kind of pleasureincluding her infuriatingly irresponsible and deliciously sexy new co-owner. Selena Mathis learned the hard way that she can have too much of a good thing. Which is precisely why shes taken an oath of celibacy and is focusing on how to make Satisfaction Guaranteed a success. She wont mess this up. Not this time. But once again, Selenas emotions are getting in the way and tempting her with a serious attraction to buttoned-up Cade. But the shop isnt exactly vibe-ing, and Cade and Selena are on the verge of losing both their income and the possibility of love. Can they find a way to work together . . . before Satisfaction Guaranteed runs out of batteries?

two queer women inherit a failing sex toy shop together, I wonder what will happen? this book is cute, women and queer-centric, and sex positive. the very simple miscommunication trope is annoying but I like the characters enough to overlook it this time. nothing more realistic than two women saying I love you after less than a month of dating. basic but enjoyable romance, very quick read.

Ok, it‘s a pick, but it‘s also a so-so. I expected more? The summary got me excited but the actual story… I dno, it felt a bit lackluster. But I can‘t fault the representation, and the ending. It was short enough that it was worth it.

Vansa Not exactly satisfaction guaranteed for the reader then 😂😂 3y

LiteraryinPA Is it weird that watching other #lmpbc groups pick their books is one of my favorite Litsy things? 😋 It‘s exciting to see all the different options in each genre! 3y

LibrarianRyan Gender Queer was just pulled from a library because it was “explicit“. I cant remember what library, but I just read about it last night. 3y

Mehso-so

A book set in a sex shop is decidedly not for me (I prefer my romances more stolen glances than frank conversation) but the couple is still very cute. I wish the conflict had been stronger than "I can't use my words," though.

MallenNC “I can‘t use my words” is a perfect description of so many book conflicts! 3y

This was fun read that focuses on women and sexuality in a playful way. There is some steamy love stuff but most of the sex stuff is just in conversation about the adult toy store two lesbian women have inherited. It had some laugh out loud moments and I recommend it for anyone looking for something light and full of woman power!😀

4/5

Cade and Selena are forced to work together after they each inherit 50% of a failing sex toy shop owned by Cade's aunt and Selena's mentor, Ruth. They have they're own reasons for trying to avoid the attraction that is building between them.

I loved the way lthe grief Selena felt after Ruth's passing was handled. It was a really beautiful story of love growing in the wake of personal tragedy.

WanderingBookaneer I just bought this one! I'm excited to read it. 4y
