I was really excited for the world building when I saw the author‘s background but most of it read like any conflict over inheritance & it seemed slow to start.
Sweet ending though.

This was a soft pick for me. The writing was good and the romance was not the focus of the book, but it was too predictable for me.

I finally got home today and this was waiting for me. I was worried the rain was going to cause issues since it was outside for a few days. But it looks good!! Can‘t wait to read this one.

This was a slow burn, for me, and argh the miscommunications in the last third or so of the book drove me batty. Just talk to one another! But I got wrapped up in it and I definitely want to read more in the world.

After six days, I finally finished this book. The final 25% was mostly excellent. The first 75% was mostly . . . *meh*
