I started this book months ago & then got busy & never finished it. Finally, this week I got my long overdue book review up on my blog. While somewhat a “niche” business book in that it is targeted to younger women & to those who are at least familiar with Austen‘s 6 main heroines, I found it an engaging & interesting look at how the characteristics & traits from Jane Austen‘s 6 main characters can build a balanced leader.

Catching up with yesterday‘s prompt of books that were #Publishedin2021 📚 Here are some of my recent reads for book tour reviews that published this year & that I enjoyed, (including the tagged book-one of my current reads.)

This was a short but very insightful read!

Basically, this book uses 6 Austen heroines to display 6 different leadership principles and explains how to incorporate them into your day to day life.

The book had a slightly academic tone and structure since it is published by a university, but it still flowed well.

#Bookmail from this weekend. I‘m not sure how well Jane Austen will work in a business book, but I asked the book tour organizers I work with to sign me up for any & all Austen-related books & I have a book tour for this one in early October. It looks like a quick read & should be interesting/entertaining.
