I loved it- thought the characters and the story was great. But I‘m still no nearer actually figuring out the other world- SF, fantasy, dystopian 🤷♀️ not a clue. But really enjoyed it.

There has just been a BIG unexpected happening in this. I need a moment and a glass of wine.
No clue what‘s going on now.

I‘m such a sucker for these special editions. Stop with the stickers though!
Somewhere classified between 'speculative fiction' and Science fiction,' this is an interesting but tediously a long book. Unfortunately, the author, Theo Clare, aka Mo Hayder, is no more. But her gritty novel proves that she is a great British Crime writer.
Such a pretty book!! I ordered this special signed/numbered limited edition from Goldsboro Books in the UK. 🖤
When I first started reading this, I wasn't sure what to expect. The book has dual storylines, which start off separately but slowly start to merge. I found it a gripping read that easily held my attention. I thought the ending was the weakest part, but the preceding chapters were strong so I rate this 4🌟
TW: animal death, violence.
My thanks to NetGalley & publishers, Random House UK, Cornerstone, Century, for the opportunity to read an ARC.
