I don't normally read mass market authors, but let's give this one a go! I picked it up today from a local resale book shop.
Well after some research it's book 2 in a short series, but I think I can read it as a stand alone. Ugh I hate that they don't openly tell you this. This is why I don't often read mass market.
Regardless, it seems like it will be a good and quick read.
Anyone read this one yet?
Definitely not one of my favorite Harlan Coben books, but I was very happy to finish up this March #BookSpin book just in time for the end of the month! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ @TheAromaofBooks
4:30am empty airport!!! Not even Starbucks is open yet!! Glad I tossed in this book last minute for some airport reading 🤓
#DecisionsDecisions Fluff or Heft??? Who am I kidding???? Probably #BrainCandy 😉
Started this one yesterday and raced through it. A follow up to ‘The boy from the woods‘ and another fast paced story. Wilde is trying to discover where he came from and a match on a dna website starts a mystery involving reality tv stars and vigilantes.
The ending left me wanting the next in the series!
I‘ve read every one of Harlan Coben‘s books. They‘re always good mysteries with twists. But I never feel like I‘ve read something substantial. That said, this story about a man looking for his parents, along with some reality show actors thrown in, and a vigilante group doing their thing, moves along at a rapid clip. Quick and harmless, but only rates a so-so.
I really enjoyed this one! I like the characters of Wilde and Hester. I was genuinely surprised by who turned out to be the killer and the mysteries of Wilde‘s family tree. I enjoyed the different characters that popped up. The world of reality tv was a bit much at times. If you‘re a fan of Coben, you‘ll like this one! I wonder if he will write another book featuring Wilde.
This one is sooo good, y‘all! The 2nd in Coben‘s Wilde series did not disappoint - such a great follow up to The Boy From The Woods. Hester Crimstein is one of my favorite crossover characters in the Coben universe so this series was a Win for me from the beginning. (Sorry, bad pun, but if you know, you know 😆)
The latest Coben book, still one of my favourite authors!
I love Wilde and I love Hester so this book was a winner! I really enjoy the cheeky cross over of books, for example Hester using Win's "articulate" when she answers the phone. I bawled my eyes out at the end ?
The Match was an enjoyable read with plenty of twists and a huge surprise of a reveal.

𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐧 takes seemingly unrelated story threads, populated by fascinating characters, & seamlessly melds them into a cohesive, riveting story. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 is a fast-paced tale about DNA testing, reality t.v., social media influencers, online trolls, & sudden fame. And Wilde's history is 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 revealed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
