A good book of short stories. They‘re thriller/suspense/semi-horror. I enjoy the author‘s other books and this was a fun read.

“End of the Liner”, about people living their lives–literally their whole lives–on a cruise ship is one of my favorites. “I‘m Not Ted” is a humorous story about a man who arrives at The Elevation Department and can‘t seem to convince anyone that he is not Ted. “Final Course”, “The Copy Shop”, and “Dust” all have Twilight Zone vibes and I enjoyed them immensely. “Runaway Blues” has a deliciously twisted ending that I loved!

Great short story collection, creepy and unnerving in equal measure. I love the little intro before each story as she explains how the story came into being.

A #Dark title. I picked up this horror short story collection at my local indie bookstore & added it to my #Scarathlon TBR. I‘m trying to read at least one short story per day during the month & I start this collection next.

Normally not the biggest fan of short story collections but I‘ve enjoyed all the other works I‘ve read by C. J. Tudor. All the stories were enjoyable, rather short, and often left you hanging at the end (which is frustrating but quite fun). I loved how the author introduced each short story - their idea behind it.
A Sliver of Darkness is filled with tales that each pack a very different punch! Needless to say, these stories are going to stick in my head for quite some time.

Goldsboro had a sale! ♥️ Sometimes it feels like the books will never get here. It‘s worth the wait!!
I love this author‘s spooky thrillers! 11 short stories? YESSS!! Ooo look at the skull in the tree limbs!

This collection of short stories is terrifying, grotesque, ingenious, entertaining, did I mention terrifying? I loved it! C. J. Tudor is a must read, for me, and should be for everyone. I tore through this short book, even though I shouldn‘t have read some of these at night. Am I sleeping with the lights on? There‘s a distinct possibility. Get this book! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
While I‘m not typically a fan of short stories, I genuinely loved reading this collection from Tudor. I‘ve enjoyed her full-length novels, too, but this made for a fast and entertaining read! The 11 stories here each open with a little introduction that feels like a behind-the-scenes peek that I really appreciated. Some of these are a little funny, some tense and some spooky- there‘s a lot of post/mid-apocalypse which gives this a timely feel!
