I could not get into this book. It's fairly short and labeled as a horror but I could only get through about 1/3 of the book and I finally packed it in. Very slow and I felt nothing really happened. A sofa is supposedly cursed and some strange things start happening to the main character and his family but nothing of substance. And definitely not a horror book.

Very enjoyable book! Vampires, vengeance and a good story. A vampire mirders Duane Minors wife and he and his niece go out to get their revenge. Good story, good characters and a fun read!

I good mystery! Warden Mike Bowditch is the main character who is out to solve a murder in Maine. I like the authors style of short chapter each laying a piece of the puzzle. Enjoyable book which is wrapped up with a good ending of the who done it.

The book was reviewed as a batch of horror stories but did not find that. It was a batch of short stories with some being sci fi and some being very slight horror. Being a fan of other horror authors I found this collection to be ok. There were a few with a sci fi theme which I enjoyed more than others.

A lawyer who details a number of assignments she had in various places overseas. Some interesting stories about places most of us don't want to visit but she's trying to make a difference. But author goes into sometimes too much detail which makes stories a bit disjointed.

A dark, somewhat horror, book in which every chapter is a member of the family speaking abd telling their story. I had read one of authors previous books and this was also a good read. If you like horror, you‘ll enjoy this book.

It was a good read and I like the character, Detective Annalise Vega. A few good twists as she hunts for a serial killer and a satisfying ending and good lead into the next book.

I've enjoyed Rick Reilly from his columns at Sports Illustrated to his books about golf. He's a golf fanatic like I am and this is another easy and enjoyable read. I don't believe it's his best book but I still enjoyed it. It's amazing to hear about some of the golf courses he's played and it's good for the reader to dream about doing the same.

I‘ve enjoyed the authors previous books so I read this without hesitation. It focuses on characters and their circumstances after a virus outbreak in a post apocalyptic world. Some definite similarities to the COVID outbreak we all experienced but still an enjoyable read.

I picked up this book after reading positive reviews. and was my first read of this author. It took me a little while to get into the book and while it was wrapped up well at the end, I personally didn't appreciate it as much as most readers. It focuses on one man and his experience with time travel.

As a big music fan, including the music of AC/DC, I really enjoyed the biography of Brian Johnson, their lead singer. The book starts at the very beginning of his child hood and goes into much detail about his early years and band he played in before his breakthrough with AC/DC. Surprisingly, the AC/DC portion is a small amount of the book. Very interesting and really enjoyable read!

An excellent novel! The character of Bill Summers, an assassin, telling the story of a complex job. Stephen King remains a master of words. The story is so well written that I was engrossed from the first few pages until the very end. The ending caught me by surprise but was excellent. Wow!!
