I saw this book at Target the other day and almost bought it…if I see it again I won‘t walk away. It sounds really cute!

When the annual Christmas party ends in disaster, Lyla owes her nemesis and co-ceo Mason Klaus a favor. She certainly doesn't expect that favor to be that he magically whisks her away to a Christmas lover's dream village where it turns out Klaus is more than a last name. This was such a fun, whimsical holiday romance.

“Lyla didn't think her day could get worse. She had torn her tights on her bike, her curls had frizzled and doubled in size thanks to the rain, and now that she had finally reached the salvation of her office, she'd found a mandate on her desk that had caused her mood to plumet to sub-zero temperatures.“

Enjoyable, fast short read that‘s perfect for the holidays, complete with magic. Lots of tropes on tropes in this, which made for fun reading. However, the big issue to temporarily cause issues comes super late in the book and all of a sudden they‘re happy. I do which we got a little more of the part where they started to actually like each other and they didn‘t just get a happy ending so fast. No work, instant gratification is what it felt like.
