So in the end, the first book was my favorite of the four, but this was still a satisfying conclusion. There was one plot gimmick that mildly annoyed me (see spoiler), but these books are so ridiculous that I just kept rolling with it haha 100% absurd, shallow melodrama that I totally was into 😂

Queen Beatrice is in a coma and Princess Samantha has gone missing—from the look of things, she ran away with her boyfriend, Lord Marshall Davis. Which means that Prince Jefferson is currently on the throne. For some in America, it's exactly what they wanted: a King ruling the country.

I just really loved this series. It‘s an alternate reality where America has a royal family instead of elected officials. I was worried about how the series would end, but it was a satisfying conclusion. Great reading/listening for busy times.

Put my pjs on before 6 pm, but to be fair it‘s really dark outside. Been looking forward to this all day actually.

McGee did a great job with the final installment of American Royals . Loved getting to know the characters even better. Some might say everything got tied up too neatly but I enjoyed having it wrapped up.

There was a slight feeling like reading 4 very similar books, but still it was a nice wrap-up of the series.

Such a fun and wild alternate history series. Instead of a democracy America has a monarchy, and the royal family has a lot going on. Plenty of drama in the style of a CW show.
