Coconut Drop Dead is a top-notch addition to this series. The core characters are so genuine and draw readers into this story and their lives so easily.

I got this email from some cozy mysteries that I can start reading right now so I downloaded them. I already read Coconut Drop Dead but I didn‘t download the other one coming out on December 26 or the other book coming out in January because I already have a lot of Netgalley books to read for January but I downloaded everything else.

The Caribbean American Heritage Festival is going well, when a beloved singer is found dead after what seems to be an accidental fall. Lyndsay's instincts are telling her something else happened, and she is intent on getting to the bottom of it.

I adore the familial relationships. & I love how Lyndsay‘s compassion/previous experience with police makes her want to help investigate. She needs to drop the love interest, though. 😂🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑

I finished this book and it‘s going to count for the #wintergames #wordsearch. I opened up the ebook from Netgalley, typed in each word from this list and counted each word one at a time because it doesn‘t have a number saying how many times the word appears. I‘m going to get a lot of points for this book. I‘m also going to count this as a Holiday/Wintery Read because the release date for this book is Dec 26.

I finished this book last night and StoryGraph has a new feature saying who this book would be a good fit for and I think this feature is very interesting. This book wasn‘t the right one for me but maybe someone else will like it.

Here‘s my review for this book I just finished reading. I posted my review for both the ebook and audiobook on Netgalley because I was approved for both and my ratio on Netgalley went up to 61%. This book wasn‘t bad enough for me to DNF it. I enjoyed it enough to finish it but it wasn‘t for me.

I did a reading sprint for this book I was reading and I finished it.

Here‘s my reading progress in this book. I listened to it while working on a coloring page that I started this month. I also ended up finishing the coloring page. Now, I‘m trying to decide what page to color next. This is good so far. This is the 3rd book in this series. I haven‘t read the first 2 books but I don‘t feel like I‘m missing any important information. It reads very well as a standalone book.

Yay! I was finally able to sign in to Netgalley and access the audiobook for this book that I have to read this month. It sounds good as an audiobook. I didn‘t like reading it as an ebook. I got up to Chapter 7 when I started reading this book last night so I‘m going to listen to this book until I catch up to where I was.

I was approved for the audiobook of this book on Netgalley that I requested last night. I started reading the book but I was using the read aloud feature that was available for the ebook. The read aloud feature in the ebook does fine but the voices being used have no inflection in them. I went to click on the link to the audiobook in the email and Netgalley is doing routine maintenance on their website so I‘ll try again later.

I decided to start this book. I have to review this book for Netgalley because it‘s going on sale December 26. I‘m not liking it so far but I hope it gets better. If I end up bailing on it then I won‘t give feedback on Netgalley.

I received this email today from Minotaur Books. I was approved for another book but this one is being published on December 26, 2023 so I‘ll have to read this book next month on Netgalley.
