#BookCoverChallenge
Day 42.
Here I will note 365 books (or as many as I will have before I get tired) that have shaped my taste in literature. No explanations, no reviews. Just the cover of the book.
I do not challenge anyone. You are all welcome to take part.

Day 12:A Book📚when I need to Play Nice-😏🖤Whenever I have to “deal” w/certain things, situations, &/or individuals where I have to put on a 🎭 of niceties I can always count on my pal J.T.H.M to get me through the asinine drudgery of whatever comes my way. #RiotGrams day 10 - comics.

Yeah, I was pretty big into the collected works of Vasquez back in the day (sort of a precursor to my modern day obsession with Hertzfeldt, now that I think about it). I snagged this copy of Vasquez's JTHM spin-off at AWA 2008, and even got Rikki Simons, the book's colorist, to autograph it after his panel.

Okay. Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. It was a sick and twisted comic that I read in the late 90's depicting violence and insanity. Johnny was the main character, but there were other side-comics I enjoyed more, such as our depressing little friend here Wobbly Headed Bob who was too smart for his own good. This is the only comic I got into, and only because the artist also created the show Invader Zim that ran on Nickelodeon. #comics #darkart #90s

hgrimes I was a huge Jhonen Vasquez fan when these were big!Wonder what he's up to these days. 8y
