The boy has joined Cubs which runs for an hour and a half. This means an hour or so of reading time. Not sure the light will hold out too much longer though. I'm excited to dive into this book - set in Ireland during the 90s. Can't believe the 90s is now historical!!

pickI am such a huge fan of Lang Leav, so I knew I had to read this book. I thought this was such a poignant and impactful story.
The writing style is gorgeous. Lang Leav is a wonderful poet so it‘s no surprise her prose is just as beautiful.

Recently re-watched the 90s teen soap opera Fifteen. Later I found this book on Amazon. I read some of it today while waiting to pick up groceries. I regret nothing.

bailedIt seems like a good idea and is well written but I guess I'm kind of over the hype. While this does have a lot of information that probably isn't well known I feel like all the juicy inside info I can quickly look up. This isn't very "exciting" at least not where I decided to stop it which was a little over 100 pages.
