Hey guys!! I‘m super excited for #LMPBC #Round6
I think I gathered the genre ideas for the most part, any thoughts on what books we should read?
I‘m not opposed to not having any kind of theme if that‘s the way we want to go 😬
1️⃣always have multiple books for multiple moods and situations 2️⃣used to go often until kindle and audible arrived3️⃣never4️⃣i used to preserve every book as pristine as a new edition but somewhere in the years I started using, living in and yes, dog ear-ing the pages5️⃣frequently
I can definitely forget about using this half of my knitting basket again. After toppling it off the chest of drawers it was standing on, I have now moved it to the floor.
Now what to listen to while #audioknitting today?
Churchill's Secretary or Grin and Beard it - can't decide

Marvelous novel about Thomas Mann's final decision to give up on Germany in 1936. Mann had already fallen afoul of the Nazis, and realized that his exile would become permanent. Much musing over Wagner, his Joseph novels (the third of which he was then writing) and the first inklings of Doktor Faustus. Intense book which I just read in a single snowed in afternoon!
