Super interesting graphic novel about how the brain works. Not indepth but informative.
This cover is so ✨stunning✨ and I love learning through graphic nonfiction so I had to give this graphic introduction to neurology a try! Despite being a brief read, this is still a dense subject, and while I‘d have a stronger base to build on after reading, there were still some things that went over my head, if you‘ll pardon the pun. The depictions of women in the book really rubbed me the wrong way as well. A soft pick.

I couldn‘t get my poor brain to pay attention to Dreadnought today. Too much wine last night I guess. 😅🍷 I went for a graphic novel instead.
A great read for a “quick and dirty” explanation for how our brain works. Recommend strongly for anyone with an interest in neuroscience. It won‘t teach an expert anything new/groundbreaking but is amusing enough to be worth the twenty minute look through.
Now for more fluff for my hungover noggin...

@xyliafromthewoods I bet you‘ve got some great covers (and photo skills) to share 😁
This is a fun, cheeky and interesting graphic novel about the brain, written by two neuroscientists. It introduces the reader to some of the brains' basic functions and some of the scientists in history pivotal in furthering the understanding the brain. It's a fast read and I really like the recommended reading list at the end of the book.
Dr. Hana Ros is the co-author of this wild-looking graphic non-fiction about how the brain works. It was recommended by a friend. I'll have to request it from the library soon.

I went through my nonfiction books to select some pretty blue titles.
Tagging @sprainedbrain @Laura317 and @CrowCAH for their favorite color of choice 😁
3⭐ This is a nonfiction graphic novel which describes the processes of the brain. It presents challenging information in a mostly easy to understand format. There is still some challenging material, but the pictures help explain it. Definitely check it out if you want a general overview of how the brain works.
