TheWordJar @JoScho He‘s had a very cushy life! š‚ Everytime we tell someone how old he is they can‘t believe it. A bit of arthritis, mostly blind, and all deaf, but otherwise vet says he‘s in good condition! 6y

FantasyChick Oh he is precious! I hope he enjoyed his cake. 16 years is amazing and I hope he has many more to enjoy. Our first rescue dog was 18 when he couldn't take any more and we like to believe that his spoiled life was part of the reason he was with is so long. Jeannie Two girls; the other is 16. You? I‘ve been getting lots of graphic novels for them to read. It‘s been fun to give the more adult ones to my teenager and the others to my 9yo. She and I both loved Fish Girl and also Roller Girl this year. And now she‘s on an Olympians kick - graphic novels with Greek gods and goddesses. 6y

Coco @Jeannie That‘s great!! Mines a boy! We adopted about a year and a half ago so I‘m still getting used to being a mom! Reading has been a great connection for the both of us! He really likes the Magic Tree house books but has been wanting to read some graphic novels lately! I‘m going to check into the Olympians!! (edited) 6y

This Fiction sunshine State Young Readers Award is perfect for story telling in the younger classrooms. It is a funny book about two little kids who decide to enter their 66 pugs in a dog sledding race! They go through lots of crazy adventure and ups and downs in this book! I think it's perfect for storytelling because you can use toys/animals to help act it out! The class will have a ball!

MakennaK I would use UDL 5.2, use multiple tools for construction and composition. This would incorporate into the stuffed animals I will use in storytelling. I will use ELL 14, simplify your speech by making it slower and redundant, when doing the storytelling. 7y
