pickI‘ve been reading only non fiction for the last 3 weeks, which has been great actually, just centering myself and getting some clarity and direction. This book was so interesting and quite convicting...science Mike‘s journey from Christianity to atheism back to Christianity is compelling and fascinating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Did not have the reading month I hoped for, but FGITW is probably the best book I have read so far this year. 👌

This book is so good. I already know it's one of the most important books I will read this year. Science Mike bridges the gap between faith and science while maintaining the humanity of both the believer and the skeptic.

Christians can be really obnoxious. But you probably already knew that. I'm not sure what can be done about it. We are a people who believe that Jesus died to save the whole world, and some of the most famous words attributed to Him command his followers to go tell the whole world about it.

pickInsightful & enlightening. I wasn't familiar with author ("Science Mike" in podcast world), but was gifted this book by my pastor friend after a discussion of ours. This is probably not for everyone, but will likely be a thought-provoking read for the questioning or "rogue" Christian, one whose beliefs have shifted since childhood, or anyone who tries to embrace both faith and science. If you're a "fan" of Rob Bell, you'll appreciate this memoir.

pickIf you've questioned your faith or love someone who has, this is the book for you. I'll read this more than once. my Kindle version is full of highlights already, but I'm sure there will be more. Yes. This. It's so good to read the words of someone who's honest about their doubt who has found a way to live in the tension. All I can add is Me, Too!
