April was not a good BOOK reading month. It was more of a graphic novel month, but it counts towards my reading goal! I think Graphic Novels are a great way to get through reading slumps, how bought you guys? What gets you through a slump?
pickAnd so the adventures of Agent Tony Chu continue in this volume, which has him traveling to a remote island that grows a strange fruit that tastes exactly like illegal chicken. I enjoyed the expanding world, including a character with the special power to inject whatever he cooks with different emotions.
@TricksyTails was so generous and bought the first volume of #Chew. My boyfriend loved it and had me buy him the second volume and is diving in! Love that he is enjoying it. I hope to read it soon! Thanks again @TricksyTails ! That was so generous of you!

pickSince poultry is now illegal in the US, anything that tastes like chicken, e.g. the frog (Which I always thought was kind of stringy when I had frog legs), to a newly discovered fruit that grows only on a small Micronesian island, Tony Chu has many adventures of the “International Flavor.” 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I'm avoiding my sick niece (I know I'm a terrible person, I just don't have the money to be sick), so I'm curled up with a couple of graphic novels to pass the time.
pickNothing for people with a weak stomach... good storytelling and art work. I like how the story develops and have the next volume lined up already.
pickI can't get enough of this graphic novel series! I need the next few volumes now!
