Rosenthal's magic shows up once again in Little Pea. Little Pea (found via Storied Life of A.J. Fikry), and adjacent in the catalog, Little Pea's Grand Adventure, are not related by anything but similar title. Both are sweet and short.

Watched the grandbaby for a few hours last Friday. Downloaded these 3 ebooks. She especially liked The Bad Seed. I liked the concept and can‘t wait to read others in the series, like The Good Egg. Little Pea was my favorite. Who doesn‘t love dessert first? ❤️ Amy Krouse Rosenthal. Frederick was a bit too long for her 15 month old attention span after the other two. We‘ll have to try it again sometime.

Illustrations for all were great.

Peas were requested by a couple of kiddos at the youth building for the vegetable today 😱 no worries I have corn too, as well as Chicken Alfredo, bread, grapes, juice, milk, pineapple upside down cake and marshmallow brownies. #cookingfoodwithlove #bethechange #volunteer

"If I lived that life, I'd hate it" my 5 year old. He had never met candy he didn't like or green veggies he did.

I ordered this set of three for our nephew's birthday and I almost want to keep them. I don't have kids of my own but they are so cute! #bookmail

These are my daughter's absolute favorite bedtime books. She's six now, but I think they've been favorites for 4 years, which is to say for most of her life.

She loves the humor- how the parents have the opposite reaction of what you would expect.

Rest In Peace, dear author. Thank you for the countless bedtime giggles and snuggles with your stories.

I love books by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. She was an amazing children's author. I've used so many of her books with my kinders. If you have little ones check her out. Duck! Rabbit!, Spoon and Little Pea are my favorites. She will be missed. #cancersucks

My four year old brought this home from preschool and I've never seen him laugh so hard at a book! It's about a pea who has to eat candy for dinner so he can have his spinach dessert. My kiddo is not a great eater so maybe this will make him want veggies 😂 Either way this is a win!
