Sociopath: A Memoir | Patric Gagne
post image
Pickpick

This is one of my favorite memoirs this year! 5⭐️ all the way!

Gagne realized she was different than other kids early on. She had a deep need to act out against other kids and break laws, but yet she felt apathetic emotionally. She found a checklist for sociopathy and realized she fit it to a T. With her deep intellectual curiosity, she began to work out ways to self-treat her condition. This led to a PhD and work with other sociopaths.

Tamra Memoirs aren‘t a genre I typically enjoy, but I‘m curious about this one! 1d
sarahbarnes I don‘t read many memoirs, but heard an interview of this woman and have a hold on it at the library. Glad to see it was a high pick for you! 1d

I wanted a fun read after reading a few deeper books lately. I don‘t mind a well written sex scene but smut isn‘t really my thing. However in this book, the main female character called her vagina her “sex” several times and it was really weird. I did like how Declan and Nicole allowed each other to take the chance they wanted. Book #81
I read this book today as self-directed PD. I love Moore's YouTube channel, 5 Moore Minutes, and this book incorporates her insights, storytelling, and clever way of developing elaborate metaphors for education. I most enjoyed the final two chapters, which focused on the importance of seeing more than just a "snapshot" of your students, and UDL (using a sweeper van metaphor).

I love Backman but this one was just so long and drawn out. A great story that could‘ve been half the length. I don‘t even have the energy to write a good review, I‘m sorry. Book #81 in 2022

The latest installment in the Bookmobile Cat Mysteries is just as amusing as the series had grown to be. Minnie is a little more settled in life, but it doesn't mean she'll stop getting into trouble trying to help right wrongs. #81-2022

Whew! I finished it! It‘s the last book for my Spring #BOOKED2021 - musical instrument on the cover. It was so good. I love the way music affected everything in their world and the pace was quick and exciting. So, so good. #100YEARS100BOOKS #81 #BookSpinBingo #6, my #DS and a bingo! #TALESandTAILSforADULTS #8 #BOOKED2021
