This was a BookTok recommendation I found. They claimed you could finish in 24-48hrs. Sure did!!!
So if you've found yourself in a reading slump, take this book!! You will be equally happy!!

Gracie from Renée Carlino's Before We Were Strangers
She's sweet and cute. And her story's poignantly beautiful.
'Poetry is just the evidence of life. If your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash.'
This was sweet, but predictable enough that I had a persistent feeling of deja vu the whole time. Overall a cute story, but not something I'll be thinking about for long (and the Goodreads rating is WAY inflated if you ask me) ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Describing current life feeling: “I was static, standing on the platform, watching train after train go by, wishing I knew which one to be on.”
Oh my! My heart is swooning with hope and love!! This was such an amazing read. I loved it. Aug 1/20

This book was so unexpectedly good, I didn‘t want to put it down. The love story of two young people who fell in love at the wrong time. The passion in the writing was amazing and I definitely cried more then I want to admit. 9/10💞
Hope, Love, soulmates. One green-eyed lovebird. One cool photography boy. Bad timing. Cosmic connection. A 15 year love story. #litsylove
“You can‘t recreate the first time you promise to love someone or the first time you feel loved by another. You cannot relive the sensation of fear, admiration, self consciousness, passion, and desire all mixed into one because it never happens twice. You chase it like the first high for the rest of your life.” ♥️ #love #firstlove #renéecarlino #lovedit #favoritewriter

Once there was a you and me

Do you still think of me?
Currently reading my third read for the #24in48 readathon! Hopefully this will be another great read 🤞

Let me start off by saying: I like very, very few contemporaries. Most of the time, I don't even bother reading them.
I was initially skeptical because college sweethearts, the one that got away, rekindled romance? We've all heard it before. I didn't have high hopes. But this book blew me away.

I loved this book, I loved the characters, I loved the story, but I especially loved how atmospheric of New York this book was. It was so beautifully written, it made my heart heavy with all the feels. This book has definitely found a place on my favourite NA romance list. Definitely recommend. 4/5 🌟
I finished this one up last night. Y'all. This book had so many more feels than I expected. It's the second romance I've read this month because February & the first was good & tried to go deeper than sappy romance & almost made it but this one... Twists. Turns. Truths. Tears. Everyone says Renée Carlino is awesome. I didn't LOVE Swear On This Life like most people but I LOVE this one. And my favorite character didn't even show up until the end!
I was given a big glass of wine, told to take my book and disappear for an hour so my hubs and kids could get my Valentine's Day present together. Um ok 🏃🏼 #tryandstopme #valentinesday
That moment when you get the kids in the bathtub 25 minutes later than you normally do and you walk into the kitchen dreading making their lunches for the next day only to remember that you actually already made their lunches earlier this afternoon. Mom win! Celebrating 😂 #momwin #itsthelittlethings #ihatemakingschoollunches #booksandbooze #justonemorechapter #justonemoreglass
So many 90's/00's references 😂 really taking me back to high school/college!
Started this today. So far I'm loving Matt but then I've always been a sucker for a grumpy old soul 😍
I was very skeptical of this book at first, but it sucked me in. I don't usually go for love stories. I tend to go for stories that don't end up the way you want them to and have complicated characters. This had a little of that in it and it kept me reading. The story felt predictable at times, but had a few small turns that kept me invested in the story. Oh, and I love that the characters loved Jeff Buckley as much as I still do.
Anyone read this one yet? #currentlyreading
I loved this book. I loved that we got to see into Matt and Grace's past and I loved that I got to watch them fall in love all over again.
I can't put this down!
Absolutely loved this book! Highly recommend.
A missed connection.A second chance. Loved this book. I have read a few of Renee Carlinos books and she never disappoints.
Wonderful easy to read, many many tears but so worth it
This was such a good book! I finally fell in love with a NA contemporary again and, ugh, it felt so good. Highly recommend!
That's why my mother always said we memorialize our past. Everything seems better in a memory 💖

This book is going to ruin me. I plan on being reduced to a blubbering pile.
I'm enjoying how real yet poetic this story is, consider me immersed.
This book changed all books for me, forever.
You have no idea how much I love this book. If you haven't read it, you should. I swear, it's beautiful. ❤️
