A perfect Saturday morning at the cabin. I‘m almost finished with this book, and it‘s possible I may love it even more than A Gentleman in Moscow. Towles is such a fantastic character writer, and this book has a whole cast of them. I have no doubt that this book will be turned into a movie or tv mini-series. pickI enjoyed this book very much but found it slow in the beginning. History of Russia was interesting and I loved the count. He was held hostage in the Metropole Hotel and developed a friendly relationship with the staff and especially 8 year old Nina. I found Amor Towles writing to be as excellent as his other book, Rules of Civility. Looking forward to the next book by Towles.
