pickI enjoyed this book very much but found it slow in the beginning. History of Russia was interesting and I loved the count. He was held hostage in the Metropole Hotel and developed a friendly relationship with the staff and especially 8 year old Nina. I found Amor Towles writing to be as excellent as his other book, Rules of Civility. Looking forward to the next book by Towles.

So I‘ve decided to Bail on my #FebruaryTBR & just read what I like for the time being ... I‘m in a bit of a reading slump & think it‘s better to just pick what takes my fancy atm.
Having said that I‘m halfway through #AGentlemanInMoscow & as I said in a previous post it‘s just on hold for a week or two whilst I read a few books to pass on to my Gran.
