3. Haruki Murakami. His magical realism storytelling always takes me where I least expect it. Same as David Lynch with his surreal movies. You never know what's happening, where the story is going and why. Love it.

pickThis one definitely leant further into the absurd when it comes to the scale of ridiculous happenings occurring in #discworldbooks , but I do very much enjoy the stories that feature Death as a character more prominently within the #discworldseries . An intriguing world that Maniscalco has builded, many secrets & the previous books questions were answered, intimate romance. Even though I feel like it could have presented the book more accurately? connecting some storylines together would be a better fit to the book.
