Story was original but kind of just ended. Apparently this is book 1 of 3. Super short; about 20 pages so a fast read. Did enjoy the illustrations and letters included so for the artwork it‘s a pick.

#Riotgrams #day19 #ArtAndIllustration Jim Kay is one of my favourite illustrators along with Chris Riddell.At the top of his field he is not only illustrating every new edition of the Potter series,he's also illustrated A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness & regularly exhibits his drawings at art galleries.The panels in every Potter book are just so gorgeous & full of hidden meanings. I adore the pencil sketch of Lupin in this edition,it's so touching.
