I listened to this audio book during my commute to take my baby JuJuB for his surgery appointment. Now, I'm stuck waiting and feeling anxious. The book was quite interesting, with its COVID lockdown theme. Even though I didn't have to experience a lockdown due to the nature of my job, I can imagine I would have gone stir-crazy if I had to. #AudioCommute #AudibleBacklog

ElizaMarie @CBee he had to have his eye removed. He has cataracts in both eyes and his L eye had glaucoma and it wasn't getting better with drops. They removed it to preserve his quality of life so he isn't in pain so much. 2mo

ElizaMarie He is 14 on March 1st; slightly deaf - but also stubborn and ignores me — and well he has been blind or near bind for the last year 2mo

ElizaMarie @CBee he did really well. He is snoring right now in my lap. I was so emotional all day (drove 2hrs to appointment so I left at 6am and I couldn't pick him up till 5pm) so yeah. It was a rough day. But we have the day tomorrow to just chill :) 2mo

ElizaMarie @UwannaPublishme JuJuB is my little old man (going to be 14 in March), I brought him into this relationship, Maverick (border collie mix) was my husbands dog he brought in - also older maybe 10, we don't know because he was dumped at my husbands neighborhood many years ago, Conor (other frenchie) is 7 he was our “baby together“; Zoey (frenchie) is 9 she was adopted from a breeder that didn't want her anymore because she can't have more babies (edited) 2mo

ElizaMarie @UwannaPublishme and Lobster (our black kitty) we just got adopted from the humane society about a year ago; he is huge (16 pounds) and has been a “seeing eye dog/cat“ for JuJuB, he won't let JuJuB get lost in corners - JuJu doesn't like him though and snaps at him when he realizes what's going on, but... he is better able to navigate because Lobster helps him. 2mo
