Fun to read how she got Gidget and the Flying Nun but after that her life is almost as exciting as mine! Kind of nice to see that she was a mom and could act. No good juicy news on the Burt Reynolds front!
2019 Book 54: So I may have skimmed some of this book because it just didn‘t grab my attention. I found it a little boring, although I respect Maya Angelou and the impact she made on behalf of the African American community. I‘ll stick to her poetry. ⭐️⭐️
It‘s nearly the end of another year of The Free Black Women‘s Library reading challenge and I‘ve been reflecting on another wonderful year of reading Black Women‘s writing. This experience (my third) has again introduced me to some wonderful, uplifting, heart-rending books in genres from afrofuturism to romance to memoir and on. Gratitude to these inspiring authors and to OlaRonke, the creatrix of #thefreeblackwomenslibrary 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
