This series is hands down one of the best I‘ve read lately. A world where gravity disappears and suddenly the sky is dangerous. Love the concept, love the main character, and love the plot! So many twists and turns! The artwork and colors are gorgeous. Read it! #comic #graphicnovel #ya #youngadult #skyward #fantasy #bookaweekchallenge

Tomi‘s writing style is beautiful. I very much enjoyed revisiting characters and being introduced to new ones! Sometimes the events were predictable, but I think that‘s more a credit towards intricate and strong plot development and world building. It was moving and extremely exciting! Couldn‘t put it down! Cannot wait for the next book!!! #bookaweekchallenge #ya #youngadult #fantasy #bookclub

It was fun adventure and twist on the story that we know so well. I kept going back and forth on liking the MC. Arthur fell flat to me. Merlin was the most interesting since he was very flawed. The first half of the book felt so slow, then around 200pgs it picked up! Towards the end, it was mass chaos with many things happening at once so the pacing was a little off to me. Love the illustrations tho! #bookaweekchallenge #ya #fantasy #bookclub

I didn‘t enjoy the book at all. I‘ve never read a James P book before, but I do know he writes many books a year so they mostly have to be good! However, this book made no sense. The MC was not like able at all. Certain events made no sense. 2 characters even said “I don‘t know why this happens but it does”. It felt like someone told James “female lead characters are popular right now so you should write a mini fantasy novel”. #bookaweekchallenge

It was my birthday yesterday and my husband stocked my YA, Fantasy, and comic bookshelf with some new beauties!!!!

I‘ve had a goal this year to read a book a week, and so far I‘ve been achieving that! What is your 2020 book goal?

I actually did it - I read the Divine Comedy! There sure are a lot of Italians in Hell 🙈 But still... I'm a little proud 😅

Buechersuechtling Rightly so. I tried to read it years ago – but I gave in soon. I could not at all cope with the style. 5y
Jari-chan @Buechersuechtling It sure isn't an easy read. I'm happy to have found a good translation otherwise I would have given up as well... 😅 5y

Exactly 30 books in September. But many of them real page monsters 😳 But I'm happy to have read all those books, it was again a great reading month. 2 audio books as well.

I also finished all my books for #BookAWeekChallenge 🙌 Reviews will follow (I'm way behind my schedule) 😅

This is a wonderful book! It is filled with love and hope and well-written characters. I loved reading this book and seeing how all the pieces of this puzzle fall into place. One of my highlights in September 💗
