I am enjoying this series. There a nice mix of serious issues alongside romance and humour, with a nice mix of likeable characters.

Sometimes I wonder why I spend the money on these book boxes with the rising costs of everything these days especially and usually not reading through all five books each month before the next box comes, but then I remember that when I‘ve had a month like the one I‘ve had and learn that I can‘t trust people to care about me or protect me, I can trust books and they haven‘t failed me or let me down yet.
Any book box twins this month?

I cracked and got the North as my #BOTM because I REALLY wanted the add-ons.
Plus I had a lot of FOMO that I didn‘t grab Wild Dark Shore earlier. And everyone I‘ve talked to about it loved it. With my #aardvarkbookclub picks that‘s 6 books bought today. I need to slow down. 📚
@Lcsmcat Are you trying to find something like this? LibraryThing has the best stats/graphs. And they are super-customizable -- you can choose a specific read year or only look at books in a particular collection. On the actual page, I can click on the bar for the 8 books with “no date“ to see which ones they are.

The formatting of the book was pretty blah. I feel like the presentation could have been nicer. The categories of quotes made sense. I don‘t know much about publishing, so that was over my head. A lot of quotes on writing. More than reading.
