I cracked and got the North as my #BOTM because I REALLY wanted the add-ons.
Plus I had a lot of FOMO that I didn‘t grab Wild Dark Shore earlier. And everyone I‘ve talked to about it loved it. With my #aardvarkbookclub picks that‘s 6 books bought today. I need to slow down. 📚

Avanders 🫢 I know the feeling… haven‘t yet figured out how to slow down… 🤔 2d

@Lcsmcat Are you trying to find something like this? LibraryThing has the best stats/graphs. And they are super-customizable -- you can choose a specific read year or only look at books in a particular collection. On the actual page, I can click on the bar for the 8 books with “no date“ to see which ones they are.

Lcsmcat I‘d like something like that - but I don‘t want to migrate to LibraryThing. (I‘m still cleaning up from my migration to StoryGraph 😀) I can do it with tags, I was just hoping someone knew a shortcut. 3d

Mehso-so

The formatting of the book was pretty blah. I feel like the presentation could have been nicer. The categories of quotes made sense. I don‘t know much about publishing, so that was over my head. A lot of quotes on writing. More than reading.

monalyisha Smart choices for your desert island reads; quantity and quality. 😉 And I don‘t actually know what your job is! 2w
monalyisha Perfect answer to the last question, too, by the way! 2w
vivastory @monalyisha Thank you! I'm the lead health coordinator for a non-profit that provides IDD services for adults. I help supervise & coordinate routine medical care, but also assist with urgent situations. Love my job. 2w

Today‘s fun fact.

Lcsmcat 😂 He should have worried more about 1mo
AnneCecilie I must confess that I‘ve never read any E. B. White and I hadn‘t even heard of him before Litsy. 1mo
kspenmoll @Lcsmcat My son‘s elementary class listened while their teacher read aloud 1mo

kspenmoll @Lcsmcat Now I must check out those worries! (edited) 1mo
kspenmoll @AnneCecilie He also co authored a classic book on writing 1mo
Lcsmcat Yes, I was aware of his role in Elements. I don‘t think you need worry about Trumpeter. My kids liked it even as they thought it was too weird (and my husband and I speculated on just what drugs White was taking when he wrote it!) 1mo
kspenmoll @Lcsmcat 😂😂😂😂😂 1mo
